Puerh production can be traced back to the Yunnan Province during the Tang Dynasty (618 CE- 907CE). History has it that the people of Tibet are presumed to have consumed the tea daily as they lacked vegetables in their everyday meals. Puerh is said to have assisted with the absorption of essential minerals and vital nutrients.

Containing high levels of polyphenols known for their antioxidant activity, this tea can assists with weight loss, aid digestion and reduce stress.
